The library was looking to create a more dynamic space on their 3rd floor - a large open space occupied mainly by computer terminals - with a large mural. The goal was to highlight some of Vancouver’s history and also utilize imagery from VPL’s Special Collection’s Historical Photographs Collection of BC and Yukon. I chose a beautiful photo of Coal Harbour from 1921 and designed interesting facts that popped up on the photo.
